Capital makes its mark on Metro League

Capital swimmers had another great day of racing on 24 May as part of the Metro League.

The Aces travelled to Masterton where they won their round, scoring 397 points. The Bees were at Tawa and came third with 300 points.

Bees’ swimmers earned four first places:

  • Nine-year-old Estee Jacobs for the 25 fly and the 25 free
  • Nine-year-old Oliver Ross for the 25 back
  • The 12 year-old-relay team of Mollie Dewer, Tallulah O’Niel, Lucy Ross, and Saskia Nemet-King.

Combined results for the round saw the Aces finish second behind PCA, with the Bees placed fifth.

The League positions after two rounds are:

  • Aces – 864 points(1st)
  • PCA – 836 points(2nd)
  • Tawa – 698 points(3rd)
  • Bees – 557 points(6th)
